For the first time, the Islamic Republic of Iran, represented by the National Foundation of Iranian Fashion and Clothing, and with full financial support from the private sector, officially participated in one of the most prestigious international events in the field of Islamic fashion—the Global Modest Fashion Week in Abu Dhabi. This international event, held over the past ten years in major cities such as London, Amsterdam, Istanbul, and others, attracts an audience of more than two billion Muslims worldwide and serves as a unique platform for presenting modest and culturally rooted fashion to the global stage. In this edition, the works of Iranian designers—previously selected in national Fajr fashion festivals—were exhibited globally with the full sponsorship of the Foundation and private investors, without any government funding. The Iranian collection was honored with the title of “The Most Outstanding and Exceptional Design Collection” of the event, earning the main honorary award of the Global Modest Fashion Week. Additionally, a special award was granted to the Iranian designers in recognition of their creation of luxurious, authentic, and culturally significant garments. The showcased designs made such a remarkable impression that even representatives from non-Muslim countries such as Italy, France, the United States, and the United Kingdom, alongside Muslim-majority nations like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Turkey, Palestine, and many others, were deeply moved by the magnificence and refinement of Persian fashion. This significant achievement is the result of one and a half years of dedicated planning and leadership by the new management team of the National Foundation of Iranian Fashion and Clothing—marking a major step forward in establishing Iran’s global standing in modest and refined fashion.
